JASON LUPISH
Founder of Open Concept Films, Jason is a writer/director whose credits include the feature film A Life Less Gone, the television series Deep River and the short films Sarah’s Dodge, Rudolph & The Girl In The Red Dress.

Immediately after graduating high school Lupish quickly started writing, and eventually producing short films with friends and fellow filmmakers. Several of his short films went on to garner some success at film festivals around the world. In 2004 he produced and was Director of Photography for the film Streets of Wonderland which went on to play at several film festivals across North America and took home 6 awards including Best Of Festival at the MicroCinema Film Festival in Chicago Illinois.

He followed up the success of Streets by teaming up with Adam Stephenson to pen the feature film A Life Less Gone. A Life Less Gone went on to secure a distribution deal through Peace Arch Entertainment in Canada and Premiered on OnDemand in Canada in 2010. Lupish and Stephenson teamed up again to develop a series that Lupish had been developing for several years titled Deep River. Since 2005 Lupish has penned 3 feature film screenplays including The Vines; a story about a young man who returns home after a 4 year hiatus to find out that a lot has changed in his absence. A Kind Of Wonderful Thing, co-written by Erica Sherwood, is slated for production in early 2011, and is about a young woman who is diagnosed with cancer.
